The man fell into the water from his kayak, in a stretch of sea in Tramariglio , full of jellyfish , which stung him by the dozen .

In pain and in a state of shock, the sportsman was no longer able to get back on the kayak and return to shore.

The divers of the Sassari firefighters , coordinated by the Port Authority, then went into action and reached the victim, bringing him to safety and avoiding the worst .
