The park of the former glass factory in Pirri reopened to the public this morning, Monday, September 1st. The green area had been closed yesterday for pest control against the Oriental hornet.

At 7:30 a.m. today, Proservice operators carried out a new inspection, noting only a sporadic presence of the insect, considered normal for a species now firmly established in the area.

The Municipality has ordered not only the targeted intervention carried out on Sunday afternoon, but also further checks and monitoring in all the city's parks and green spaces, to ensure the safety and protection of citizens.
