Doses of cocaine and cash in the car and at home. For this reason, yesterday afternoon a 27-year-old local man already known to the police was arrested in flagrante in Pirri, for the alleged crime of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing. The young man was noticed by the Flying Squad officers during a territory control operation. What caught their attention was a man, stopped to talk to the driver of a parked car, who, at the sight of the police officers, quickly drove away.

The officers, suspicious of his behavior, chased him and stopped him, finding him in possession of 8 cellophane packages containing a total of approximately 4 grams of cocaine. In the meantime, the officers also proceeded to check the driver, the 27-year-old, who was found with 200 euros in cash and 5 grams of cocaine hidden under the seat. Believing that the driver had just sold some narcotics, the search moved to his home, where 2,500 euros in cash were found, presumably believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing. The 27-year-old was then escorted to his home under house arrest.
