Pierpaolo Marullo is the new commander of the Local Police of Cagliari: he will start service next Tuesday, the first day of July. A “fixed-term” contract for the next three years.

The news of the nomination had leaked out last April : the mayor Massimo Zedda had actually identified Marullo, commander of the inter-municipal corps of Riccione, as the candidate, who had then communicated his availability.

The technical times, in addition to those necessary to conclude his work on the Adriatic coast, have moved the start date of the new adventure at the command of the Local Police of Cagliari which will take place next Tuesday.

Marullo will take the place of Giambattista Marotto, the municipal manager (currently in Personnel) appointed in the summer of 2023 after the departure of Guido Calzia who moved to the Rome Local Police.
