Searches underway in Perdaxius for a missing 72-year-old .

The alarm was raised late yesterday afternoon by her husband who did not see her return home in the Bingixedda area .

The Prefecture of Cagliari took immediate action: 20 technicians from the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps belonging to the stations of Cagliari, Iglesias, Medio Campidano, Nuoro and Ogliastra were involved in the research, including a dog unit and three drone pilots equipped with thermal camera .

The searches are currently concentrated in the areas close to the home of the missing person .

The coordination center was set up in the premises of the Perdaxius Social Center made available by the mayor.

Also on the field were the carabinieri of the Carbonia company, the fire brigade personnel with drones, dog units and divers who inspected two wells, volunteers from the AVDAG Civil Protection of Gonnesa, from PROCIV Santadi and staff from the Shardana Dog Centre.
