Pepper spray causes panic at the Corte del Sole: a stampede ensues, with a boy and a girl rescued by an ambulance.

Panic erupted at Corte del Sole. A stampede broke out from the Sestu shopping center, with some people feeling ill, others running away coughing. Ambulances and police arrived.

It all started when a group of kids sprayed pepper spray into the crowded facility, in the so-called diamond area.

A girl and a boy felt ill and were treated by ambulances. Several others ran away coughing. The Carabinieri also arrived on the scene, and have begun investigating the incident and are trying to track down the perpetrators, some of the teenagers who reportedly ran away.
