To pay homage to the new centenary, the mayor delivered a commemorative plaque and brought the best wishes from the entire community and the municipal administration to Pietro Luigi, born on October 31, 1924 , a special day celebrated together with his wife Maria, 98 years old, accompanied by the warmth of his entire family, his two children, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A life dedicated to his work as a bricklayer, but above all to his family.

Together with his wife Maria he holds the record for the longest-lived couple in the Ittirese community, over seventy years of marriage. A double celebration where there was no shortage of emotions for the many memories and stories of a long life spent between sacrifices and love for others.
