If it's not Brotzu it's Policlinico. Or Santissima Trinità. Or Duilio Casula and Is Mirrionis together. The order of the hospitals changes but the result doesn't change: the drama is daily.

If in the past few days the lines of ambulances had formed at the emergency room of Arnas, in Piazzale Ricchi, today the nightmare of waiting has materialized in the other two hospitals that are having to deal with a volume of patients incompatible with the number of beds available to admit them. In addition, at the Policlinico in the early afternoon doctors, nurses and Oss found themselves with five red codes all at once. Result: a Mike , therefore with a fairly serious patient on board, remained blocked for a long time well before being able to do the triage, therefore the assignment of the severity code for admission.

In the meantime, the squares have been transformed into long-term parking lots for white and orange vehicles: at 3 pm today there were about ten at Santissima Trinità, even more at Duilio Casula.

The reason? Always the same: there are no beds to hospitalize those who are ill in the wards, the patients (people who come from half of Sardinia because there is a lack of services in the territories) are taken in but remain on the stretchers of the ambulances and the crews are forced to wait for their return. Consequence? The 118 operations center has no means to send to help others in need. Recently the doctor on duty had to appeal to the Prefecture: because this is a social emergency.
