There were moments of fear on the road from Palmas Arborea to Santa Giusta. A driver was seriously injured after losing control of his pickup truck, which overturned several times in a field. The 45-year-old from Palmas was transferred to Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari by an Areus helicopter with critical injuries.

The accident occurred in mid-afternoon: for reasons yet to be determined, the driver, who was traveling alone, lost control of his car near the curve near the Simba sports center in Matteoli.

The pickup truck went off the road and overturned several times. The alarm was raised immediately, and emergency responders arrived on the scene. Given the injured man's condition, they also requested the air ambulance.

Also on the provincial road were the firefighters and the Carabinieri of the mobile radio unit who carried out surveys and reconstructed the dynamics of the accident.
