The appointment for the "Photographic Safari" is for Sunday 19 May at 9.30 am at the Porto Cuncato roundabout, where the path to the Talmone swimming pools begins. It is organized by the "Friends of Talmone and Cala di Trana" Committee; the aim, the organizers write, is to «capture in images the nature of the Gallura coast in all its extraordinary biodiversity».
It is the first initiative of the season by the environmentalist group from Palai, which with some of its members will accompany the participants, "armed" only with cameras and telephoto lenses, who, "in full respect of the local fauna and flora, will go on a "hunt" for hares and shags, broom flowers and helichrysum, exploring rocks, natural cavities and tafoni, beaches and expanses of Posidonia oceanica".
The excursion, with free registration, will wind along Cala Scilla, the beaches of Talmone, Punta Don Diego, the military battery, the observation tower of Monte Don Diego, the grazing meadows towards Cala di Trana, the dunes of Cala di Trana, the path towards Punta Sardegna, the Contessa beach, the Punta Sardegna lighthouse.
