Almost 4 tons of marijuana that if placed on the drug dealing market could have generated over 15 million euros. This is what the financial police of the Ozieri branch discovered and seized inside a farm in the Tula area.

The soldiers were carrying out a routine check to verify the regularity of the employment contracts of the employed laborers.

However, suspicious of the particular state of agitation shown by the company owner, the financial police decided to investigate further. And so they identified, stowed inside a warehouse and hidden in large industrial bags, over 3.7 tons of cannabis inflorescences.

The military of the Ozieri Tenancy, assisted by the financial police of the Sassari Group, then seized the bags with the cannabis, while the owner of the agricultural company was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Sassari.

The value of the seized drugs amounts to approximately 3 million euros on the wholesale market, but, as mentioned, once released into the drug dealing areas, it would have allowed for a revenue of over 15 million euros.
