Overwhelmed by a car in Nurachi, a 28-year-old cyclist is killed

A 28-year-old pastor, Gianluca Podda , resident of Zerfaliu, died overnight after being hit by a car while riding a bike .
The young man was pedaling last night in the direction of Riola Sardo when, arriving at kilometer 122,800, he was hit by an Audi A3 driven by a 38-year-old.
Due to the violent impact he was thrown from his bicycle, ending up on the asphalt .
The driver of the car stopped to help him and called for help . Carabinieri, firefighters and a 118 ambulance arrived on the scene, but for the 28-year-old there was nothing more to be done: he died instantly due to various traumas.
The car and bicycle were impounded. The driver will be subjected to all the investigations: he risks being accused of road murder .
