Over 28 thousand euros received unduly: 3 people reported in Nuoro

Thanks to a careful investigative activity conducted by the Carabinieri of the Ottana, Orani and Orotelli stations - coordinated by the Ottana Company and supported by the Nuoro Labor Inspectorate - it was possible to recover approximately 28,000 euros unduly received by three citizens of the area who were benefiting, without being entitled to it, from the inclusion allowance.

The investigations, started at the beginning of 2025 and still ongoing for further investigations, have allowed to ascertain the irregularities and lead to the reporting of those responsible to the Judicial Authority .

The provision of the benefit was immediately suspended, while procedures are underway for the return of the sums illegally subtracted from the state coffers.

The investigation revealed that the three individuals had received the benefit for a total period of approximately one and a half years, causing economic damage of 28 thousand euros.

The intervention of the Carabinieri demonstrates the importance of systematic controls in the public funding sector, to ensure that state aid goes exclusively to those who really need it.
