Police arrested Mayor Franco Saba on charges of attempted extortion and ordered another person to remain in residence. Smartphones and other electronic devices were seized, with the assistance of the Bergamo DIGOS (Special Operations Unit) and specialized personnel from the Guardia di Finanza's Computer Forensics and Data Analysis department.
