A one-year-old girl fell from a height of 9 meters . The accident happened this morning around 10 in Ottana .
The cradle , on the third floor of a house in via Libertà, had been positioned next to a window when the little girl fell down .
The fall was apparently cushioned by a bougainvillea plant: the little girl was crying and moving at the time of rescue and was transported by air ambulance to the Brotzu in Cagliari . The Sassari 118 operations center sent the rescue teams to the scene and the Areus Echo Lima 2 helicopter which took off from the Alghero base.
The municipal administration has made a car available to the family, a Macedonian couple, to reach the little girl in the capital.
The Ottana police are investigating the matter.
