A man suspected of animal cruelty has been reported in Ossi. During a recent check, the Carabinieri observed a mixed-breed dog in the suspect's garden, which was in serious health conditions and in poor hygiene conditions.

The animal was clearly in poor condition, as was the fact that it was tied to a rusty chain that limited its movement. A subsequent inspection revealed a complete lack of food and water, and no suitable shelter for the animal. The already critical situation was further aggravated by the presence of extensive feces in the area, thus compromising the health and hygiene situation.

Fiamma, as the dog was named, was seized and placed in the care of the competent shelter. The shelter staff took steps to ensure the necessary health care, microchipping, and providing accommodations appropriate to the animal's physiological and well-being needs.

The activity conducted by the military from the Ossi station is part of a broader framework of territorial control and combating crimes committed against animals.
