It was four shots to the chest, fired at close range, that killed Luca Goddi, the 46-year-old farmer from Orune , who was shot dead on the afternoon of August 5 in the center of the town as he was preparing for the Su Cossolu celebrations.

The shots hit the victim's heart and lungs, causing him to die in a short time. This is the result of the autopsy performed by the coroner Matteo Nioi at the municipal cemetery of Nuoro and which lasted seven hours. Important elements that are added to other pieces of the investigations coordinated by the Nuoro prosecutor Ireno Satta and entrusted to the carabinieri of the Nuoro investigative unit and the Bitti company. Luca Goddi, who had several precedents for robberies and other crimes, that afternoon of August 5 had arrived in Orune from Budoni, where he lives, for the funeral of a friend.

The man was killed around 6 pm in Corso Vittorio Emanuele while he was aboard his blue Golf. The magistrate has seized the "Il Pasticcio" bar, which is located in front of the crime scene, in the meantime the Ris are analyzing the glasses and other crockery in the room, looking for biological traces and fingerprints. Furthermore, the images of the cameras near the bar are analyzed and relatives and friends of the farmer have already been heard to reconstruct his last hours of life.
