For some time the energy consumption and malfunction of the system in a house in via Flavio Gioia in Torregrande had seemed excessive.

Then the confirmation of the initial suspicions: someone was using the home's electricity network illegally. The police were immediately notified and arrested Fabrizio Manis, 40, for aggravated theft. Judge Marco Mascia validated the detention and ordered house arrest for the worker, assisted by the lawyer Fabio Costa (replaced in the Chamber by the lawyer Barbara Ibba).

Manis's neighbor had reported the situation several times, after having noticed numerous anomalies. Many reports then at dawn yesterday morning, around 6, the homeowner had proof that there was something strange: he noticed some flying wires near the external meter, connected to the system of the house bordering the her. This was the rudimentary system that his neighbor had devised to be able to use electricity. At that point he asked for the intervention of the police who surprised the 40-year-old and arrested him for aggravated theft.

Fabrizio Manis appeared in Court for the direct trial, judge Marco Mascia ordered house arrest (at the home of a family member) and postponed the proceedings until December 11th.
