With his wheelchair he challenged a wind giant.

Luigi Salis, of the Ajo stop devastation Oristano committee, this evening stood in front of the gate of the industrial port to try to prevent the passage of a truck with a rotor on board. «I went to check – says Salis – when I noticed that there were movements in the square where the wind turbines were unloaded in recent months».

A few minutes and the police arrived and asked the man to move. "They told me that I would risk a complaint or the seizure of my car but I was not intimidated - he says - this is a battle for our land".

So with the wheelchair he placed himself in front of the gate and the truck which was starting to move.

Brief mediation with Digos, in the end Salis decides to leave the road free, but not before making his protest action public. "We are determined to be vigilant, we will not allow this massacre."

In the meantime, the truck with the rotor moved away from the industrial port and took State Road 131. A slow march up to the crossroads for Marrubiu: here, through secondary roads, the heavy vehicle headed towards the construction site of the Das Wind company, which is placing a wind tower in the industrial area, as tall as a 50-storey skyscraper.
