Oristano, fear at the shopping center: LPG leak from a car after the accident

Moments of great tension this morning in Oristano, where an accident at the entrance to the parking lot of a shopping center risked turning into a tragedy.

Around 11:30, two cars collided violently and, in the impact, a pipe of the LPG system of one of the vehicles broke, causing a dangerous gas leak.

The firefighters intervened immediately and secured the area. Specialists equipped with specific equipment to manage the gas leak also arrived on site. The command men worked quickly to avoid the risk of explosions, clearing the entire area.

Police officers and 118 paramedics were also present: one person was taken to hospital for checks.
