Orani, illegal horse racing through the town streets: eight youths reported

Eight young men from Orani were identified and reported by the Carabinieri for organizing and participating in an unauthorized horse race through the town's streets on October 13th, shortly before the celebrations in honor of San Daniele.

The impromptu competition caused moments of danger for citizens, riders, and animals, forcing the military of the Orani station, coordinated by the Ottana Company, to launch immediate investigations.

Through a detailed reconstruction of the route and viewing footage from surveillance cameras, the Carabinieri were able to identify all the participants, four of whom had criminal records.
