One steals from a bar, the other goes for a walk even though he is under house arrest: two arrests in Sassari

In Sassari, two people arrested by the Carabinieri.

In the first case, a woman was arrested after taking advantage of the owner's inattention and stealing a handbag containing a wallet and credit card from her in a bar in the historic center. The woman then went to a patrol on duty in Sassari Vecchia and reported the incident. The officers, having received the description of the suspect, were able to find her shortly after and, following a search, verified that she was carrying the bag she had just stolen and, for this reason, arrested her on charges of theft by dexterity.

The other arrest dates back to November 8th and involved a man who, despite having received the measure of house arrest, was walking through the streets of the center. The carabinieri then stopped him for evasion and, like the alleged thief, he ended up in Bancali awaiting trial.
