On the island, more than 130 thousand infections since the beginning of the pandemic. The total victims are almost 1,900

The total number of Covid-19 cases ascertained in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency has exceeded 130 thousand.

To be precise, on the island - according to data from the Ministry of Health released by the Civil Protection - 130,412 people have been infected with the virus since February 2020.

The victims of the epidemic in two years in Sardinia are instead a total of 1,872, of which five in the last 24 hours ( here the latest bulletin issued by the Region ).

Also in the last 24 hours, 1,347 new infections were recorded at the regional level, divided as follows by province:

Cagliari: 366

Sassari: 368

Nuoro: 258

South Sardinia: 287

Oristano: 68.

The 130,412 total infections ascertained in Sardinia in two years are instead divided as follows at the provincial level:

Cagliari: 36,620

Sassari: 34.187

Nuoro: 24,267

South Sardinia: 21.936

Oristano: 13,388

Out of Region: 14.

Finally, a total of 104,953 Sardinians recovered or discharged in these two years after contracting the virus (+1,288 in the last 24 hours).
