On the island, another 1,301 cases of Covid and six victims, hospitalizations are down

Another 1,301 cases of Covid were detected today in Sardinia, 1,094 of which were diagnosed with antigenic swab. A total of 9,673 swabs processed in the last 24 hours.

Unfortunately, the island mourns six other victims of the virus: an 88-year-old man and a 99-year-old woman residing in Sassari, a 95-year-old woman and a 99-year-old man residing in the Oristano area and two 72 and 84-year-old men from the Metropolitan City of Cagliari.

The situation in hospitals improves. There are 27 patients in intensive care, 2 fewer than yesterday's figure. The number of hospitalized patients in the medical area is also decreasing, numbering 317 (-10).

The Sardinians in home isolation are 24,620, 172 less than the figure 24 hours ago.
