The ban on bathing in Pittulongu has been revoked. Following the samplings carried out yesterday, the return of the values to the norm was ascertained. Those linked to the presence of colibacteria were the ones to break through.

"We are happy to announce that the sampling carried out in the waters of Pittulongu gave a negative result, i.e. the values have returned to normal and you can safely swim in the sea of our beach", said the mayor, Settimo Nizzi".

The ban on bathing, which lasted less than 48 hours, was triggered due to the tripled concentration of intestinal enterococci compared to the limit values.
