The Juvenile Prosecutor of Sassari, Luisella Fenu, coordinates the investigations into the death of Gabriele Pattitoni , the 17-year-old student who died this morning in the civil hospital of Sassari due to very serious injuries sustained in an accident which occurred in Olbia on 10 May last.

The scooter on which Gabriele was traveling as a passenger collided with another motorbike, at the intersection of via Fidia and via Euclide, in the heart of the Gallura city, just before midnight last Friday. The investigations concern the two young people, the same age as the victim, who were driving the two scooters. The four boys involved knew each other well, they were a group of friends.

Among the hypotheses of the investigations conducted by the Traffic Police there is also that of a sort of scooter game before the impact. But these are only reconstructions yet to be verified. Gabriele Pattitoni's body has been returned to his family, the funeral of the student from Olbia (his parents are originally from Calangianus) will be celebrated on Saturday.
