Olbia, non-standard workshop: ten thousand euro fine

The local police of Olbia have fined the owner of a workshop who was accused of administrative and criminal violations with fines of over 10 thousand euros.

The checks began almost by chance, the owner of the business had been invited to move some cars and did not appreciate the intervention of the officers , intolerant of the policemen's requests and worried about a possible check, which in fact began immediately. Numerous alleged irregularities were detected, including on the system adopted by the Olbia mechanical workshop to dispose of sewage.

The alleged violations also concern the disposal of packaging, failure to comply with warnings to employees regarding the dangers of machinery and failure to review fire-fighting devices. The Local Police personnel, coordinated by Commander Giovanni Mannoni and the Polstrada officers sent a report to the Tempio Prosecutor's Office.
