A 55-year-old man from Olbia has been convicted by the Tempio Preliminary Investigating Judge for a series of incidents involving a 16-year-old girl. The incidents occurred in Olbia and he was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison .

The preliminary hearing judge of the Tempio Pausania Court granted the requests of prosecutor Noemi Mancini. The man allegedly abused the very young victim and showed her pornographic images . The trial was conducted using the abbreviated procedure.

The accused, represented by Marco Salis, denied the Tempio Prosecutor's Office's allegations. The man lived with a relative of the alleged victim .
