The Guardia di Finanza of Olbia has executed a precautionary measure order, issued by the investigating judge of the Tempio Pausania Court, for fraudulent bankruptcy of several million euros.

A 73-year-old entrepreneur and his partner ended up under house arrest. A third “front man” was subjected to the “ban on exercising managerial positions in legal entities and businesses”.

The investigations were conducted by prosecutor Mauro Lavra and concern alleged violations of bankruptcy and tax laws.

In the crosshairs is a group of companies operating in Olbia in various sectors including corporate security. « The investigations – the Guardia di Finanza announced – have allowed us to unmask a scheme of tax fraud and diversion of corporate assets transferred from the bankrupt company, the so-called “Bad Company”, registered in the name of a “front man” and burdened by enormous tax debts, to several new entities, the “New Companies” , which continued the enterprise by exploiting the same network of employees, suppliers and customers and avoiding, at least in their intentions, any financial and tax liabilities».

All the companies involved in the investigation, including the bankrupt one, are traceable to the two arrested entrepreneurs.

The provisions were issued on the basis of the evidence collected so far by the Olbia Guardia di Finanza, directed by the magistrate of the specialized "Economy" group of the Tempio Pausania Public Prosecutor's Office, under the coordination of the Public Prosecutor.
