Interdiction and seizure of properties worth two million euros. These are the measures carried out by the financial police of the Olbia Group, with the assistance of the dependent Compagnia di Tempio Pausania, against an accountant from Olbia, Massimo Curreli: the decree was issued as part of an investigation into bankruptcy matters (fraudulent bankruptcy due to distraction) still underway, on a company in the auto parts sector, Lamierauto Snc di Olbia, declared bankrupt in October 2022.
The professional was hit by the personal precautionary measures of the "prohibition to exercise managerial offices in legal persons and companies" and the "prohibition to practice the profession of accountant", while the preventive seizure order concerned properties with a total value of approximately 2 million euros, which one of the partners of the bankrupt partnership had sold, on paper, at a price significantly lower than the market price to two companies managed by the same accountant. The sale of the property was found to be simulated: the bankrupt partner had remained in possession of the assets and had not received any sum.
The provisions were issued on the basis of the evidence collected so far by the Olbia Guardia di Finanza, directed by a magistrate who is part of the specialized "Economy" group of the Tempio Pausania Public Prosecutor's Office, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor.
The activity of the Fiamme Gialle is aimed at returning what is owed to the creditors of the companies, who have remained unsatisfied and without financial guarantees due to the fraudulent conduct of the administrator.
