It will be the City Council in at least fifteen days to say whether Augusto Navone, candidate for mayor of the Grand Civic Coalition defeated in the administrative, can remain on the benches of the City Council.
Two reports arrived in the Municipality have in fact signaled an alleged incompatibility between the office of councilor and that of director of the marine protected area of Tavolara. The City Council, with only the votes of the majority, has therefore validated the election of all the councilors except Navone who now has fifteen days to bring his counter-arguments which will be evaluated in the classroom. The leader of the Grand Civic Coalition reiterated in the classroom what he had anticipated in a press conference a few days ago: authoritative legal opinions support the compatibility of the two positions. The open procedure, which the opposition councilors attributed to political action by circles linked to the majority, opened the works of the City Council in a climate of tension. The minority therefore abstained both on the validation of the directors and on the election of the Prime Minister.
As already known, according to the political agreements, the president is Marzio Altana, a lawyer with a wealth of administrative experience, elected on the Psd'az lists. For him all the votes of the majority while the opposition, while declaring its appreciation, voted blank. The vice presidents are Michele Fiori, of Forza Italia, for the majority and Stefano Spada, of Alba civica, for the minority. Nizzi, before taking the oath, then made official the names of his council in the foreground before the civic assembly, Sabrina Serra (FI), first deputy mayor of the city. The other councilors are Marco Balata, Elena Casu and Antonella Sciola for Forza Italia, Simonetta Lai for the Nizzi List, Alessandro Fiorentino for the Reformers and Vanni Sanna for the Lega.
Groups in the minority are also beginning to emerge. Davide Bacciu will be the leader of the Liberi group (with Eugenio Carbini and Paola Tournier), Maria Teresa Piccinnu announced that he will autonomously represent the 5-star Movement in the mixed group. There are still no communications on the other directors but it is likely that the directors of Democratic Olbia (Pd) constitute an autonomous group.
