Offshore wind, Sardinian mayors take action: "Harmful for our sea"

After the unanimous no of the Cagliari City Council to offshore wind farms in the Golfo degli Angeli, opposition to the turbines in the sea is growing in many other coastal municipalities of the island, from Carloforte to Castelsardo .

For the mayor of Olbia, Settimo Nizzi, the wind turbines must not be visible, while for the mayor of Alghero, Cacciotto, it is necessary to involve the population.

In general, however, everyone seems to agree: "Offshore is harmful to the Sardinian sea."
