Goodbye Alitalia, here is Volotea: the first flights of the low cost company departed this morning, which will manage territorial continuity until 14 May 2022. From Fiumicino the first departure was at 9: flight on time and with only 16 passengers on board, landed in Cagliari at 9.50am. Also via the connections with the Milanese airport of Linate.

The knot of reservations remains: many have paid to take their luggage on board, but the continuity rules require that there is no surcharge. From the company they let it be known that in the next few hours the website will be updated and the extra costs will be eliminated.

In the meantime, Ita also takes off, which will keep the Alitalia brand: the new state company, however, will not fly to Sardinia. At least for now.
