Nuraminis, the new roundabout does not convince citizens: «Dangerous in case of heavy rain»
But Mayor Anni reassures: «Project to be completed, we need to be patient»Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
The new roundabout that was created after the one-way system on the main road came into force and which will regulate traffic between Via Nazionale, Via Roma and Via Matteotti leaves many citizens in Nuraminis perplexed .
What is causing people to turn up their noses is the slope of the roundabout, considered by some to be excessive and dangerous in case of excessive rainfall.
"The roundabout was designed by a working group of four engineers who have been building roadworks for years in accordance with the required technical standards," explains the mayor Stefano Anni, " what you can see now is the central body of the roundabout to which, next week, via Roma, via Matteotti and via Nazionale will be connected by reconstructing the gradients and elevations ."
The current slope of the roundabout would therefore not be the definitive one : the road levels will be modified to guarantee the correct flow of water and the manholes, the rainwater grates and the slopes that will be built will change the view and the shape of the entire intersection.
So patience for a project that is not yet completed is what the administration is asking for : «I do not allow myself to tell a surgeon how to behave in the operating room because I am ignorant on the subject, but I suppose that the technical skills of those who have been criticizing and mocking for days the work of professionals such as engineers and builders with thirty years of experience in road works is equal to nothing» concludes Anni.
