Nuoro, works on the water network: schools closed and half the city without water

The Commissioner of the Municipality of Nuoro, Giovanni Pirisi , has issued an order to close all schools of all levels , for Wednesday 30 October , in the districts of Nuraghe, Cartaloi, Monte Gurtei, Istiritta, Rione Italia, Città Giardino, Sa Terra Mala, Sacro Cuore, Badu e' Carros and Furreddu, and more precisely those located in via Ragazzi del 99, Monte Gurtei, via Marco Polo, via Costituzione, via Asiago, via Tridentina, via Toscana, viale Trieste, via Toscana, via Veneto, via Tempio.
The decision comes after Abbanoa announced the concurrent works for the connection of the new water main in via Toscana at the intersection with via Santa Barbara and viale Sardegna, intersection with via Aosta. Works that will lead to the closure of the Cuccullio reservoir from 8:30 to 17:00 , with consequent lack of supply for the users served by the aforementioned reservoir, namely the neighborhoods of Nuraghe, Carta Loi, Monte Gurtei, Istiritta, Rione Italia, Sa Terra Mala, Sacro Cuore, Badu and Carros, Furreddu.
