The heart of Nuoro in the dark. Yesterday evening, Tuesday, a blackout affected public lighting in the area between Corso Garibaldi and Piazza Satta, leaving some of the most central and busy streets of the city immersed in darkness.

A sudden and prolonged blackout that caused inconvenience and discontent among residents, shopkeepers and passers-by. The streets, without the usual streetlights, became uncertain and unsafe routes. To make matters worse, there was no warning and no clear information about restoration times.
To restore a bit of life and dignity to the center, just a few shop window lights: discreet and warm flashes that, even if isolated, broke the darkness with small gestures of urban resistance. A strong contrast, between the general gloom and those luminous islands that seemed to want to keep the city alive despite everything.
Citizens are now asking for interventions and more careful management of public lighting, especially in such symbolic areas of the city.
