Nuoro, Pd and Riformisti: a single list to support the mayoral candidate of the Largo Emiliano Fenu camp

In less than seven days, when the deadline for submitting the lists for the next municipal elections in Nuoro expires on May 8, all the names of the candidates will be revealed. But the first certainties are already emerging. Partito Democratico and Riformisti per Nuoro are joining forces in a new political project to support Emiliano Fenu's candidacy for mayor and will present themselves in a single list with 24 names. An alliance that was born from a shared path of opposition during the ten years of the Soddu administration and that now translates into a common commitment to give Nuoro a clear and concrete turning point.
"It is urgent to turn the page - declare Giovanni Mossa, secretary of the Democratic Party and Leonardo Moro, former deputy mayor of the Bianchi council and promoter of the Riformisti per Nuoro list - and start a government action capable of reversing the negative trend that has afflicted the city for years. Too many problems have remained unsolved, generating disillusionment among citizens and increasing the distance between administrators and those administered".
The new list aims to represent a turning point, a proposal for political and administrative discontinuity with respect to the past, focusing on the strengthening of the municipal machine, on the valorization of existing resources and on a shared planning with the Province, Region and central Government.
Among the main objectives: stopping the exodus of young people, creating job opportunities, building an inclusive and sustainable Nuoro, and being ready for the challenge represented by the Einstein Telescope, a strategic opportunity for the whole of Sardinia.
"A change of pace is needed in the relationship between the Municipality and citizens - they continue - promoting active participation, from the budget to investments, up to strategic choices. A more efficient, fairer city, that excludes no one".
Pd and Riformisti claim competence, experience and vision, and promise maximum commitment in building a new future for Nuoro : «With Emiliano Fenu and the Ripartiamo insieme coalition, we can face and win the challenges that await us».
