They stopped him while attempting to sell narcotics to another Nuoro citizen. The Flying Squad, using the "High Impact" services provided by the Police Chief, and with the assistance of the Penitentiary Police's drug-sniffing canine units, arrested a 37-year-old man, already known to law enforcement, red-handed.

The subsequent personal and home search yielded and seized 1.9 kilograms of marijuana, 750 grams of cocaine, 91 grams of MDMA, as well as precision scales, packaging materials, and a notebook listing credits and debits related to drug sales. A duffel bag containing €21,000 in €50 and €100 bills was also found and seized from the arrested man's home. The man was taken to the Badu'e Carros prison in Nuoro, charged with possession and trafficking of narcotics, pending a sentencing hearing scheduled for tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
