Nuoro: Man beaten and robbed woman in city center: reported

She was attacked while walking on Via Gramsci , in the city center. The victim, a young woman , was approached by a young Algerian acquaintance, with whom she got into an argument over trivial matters. The situation quickly escalated, however: the man kicked and punched her in the body and head , then grabbed her purse, stole a pack of cigarettes, and walked away.

Police patrol cars responded immediately and began searching for the perpetrator. Officers were able to identify the alleged perpetrator, a young Algerian national already known to law enforcement.

The man, who was also the recipient of the preventive measure of prohibition of access to urban areas (Dacur), issued by the Police Chief of the Province of Nuoro last July 24, was reported for the crime of robbery .
