The Labor Inspectorate and the Nuoro Carabinieri conducted extensive checks at 13 companies in Nuoro, San Teodoro, Irgoli, Loculi, Orosei, and Siniscola. None were found to be in compliance.

Of the 35 workers inspected, 23 were undocumented and 7 were completely undocumented. The most serious violations were found in the construction sector: lack of medical checkups, non-compliant equipment, and the absence of scaffolding assembly plans. On one construction site, the percentage of undocumented workers exceeded 10%, triggering the suspension of activity.

Irregularities also occurred in public establishments, where the military found employees without contracts or social security benefits.

During the investigations, two irregular recipients of citizen's income were also identified and reported to INPS.

The total amount is €34,672 in fines and penalties, in addition to the recovery of €3,500 in social security contributions. Inspections will continue throughout the province.
