After the stop last March at the San Francesco hospital, today, the Association il Sogno di Giulia has landed at the Pediatric Dermatology Department of Zonchello in Nuoro .
For the non-profit organization founded in memory of Giulia Zedda, who passed away in 2018 due to a brain tumor, donations to the department directed by Dr. Maria Giovanna Atzori.
Here, the little patients will benefit from a bookcase, a table with four colorful chairs, a chair with armrests for the doctor, two chairs for the patients, an office chest of drawers with three drawers and, soon, a new wardrobe.
But to cheer up the children and adults of the pavilion there will also be three paintings made by the artist Manu Invisible, present for the occasion.
For the well-known masked writer, the creation of the works "Amata" and "Armonia", which represent floating fish: «The colors of the floating fish - explained Manu Invisible - will soften the fear of children, linked to the hospital environment and will transform it into something positive, becoming a sign of hope especially for the little ones».
According to Eleonora Galia, Giulia's mother and founder of the charity: «The Manu Invisible project was made with fish that move harmoniously. In Nuoro - said Galia - we donated "Amata" and "Armonia", but the project continues in Cagliari with "Gioia", "Beatrice", "Costanza"».
"Clearly these are terms referring to Giulia - added Galia - for this donation I cannot but thank the two partner associations that gave their contribution: "Per non dimenticarerti Francesca", from Bosa, and "Tutti per gioia", from Bergamo"».
And for the Director of Dermatology Maria Giovanna Atzori and the pediatric dermatologist Giovanni Puddu: «Behind the mask of this brilliant artist hides a truly great person. Now - the specialists commented - this department is truly much more colorful and it will be for all the children who come to visit us».
In the same direction the DG of ASL 3, Paolo Cannas: «I want to thank Mrs. Galia and all the promoters and supporters who continue the beautiful "Sogno di Giulia" for having chosen, once again, one of the health facilities of our ASL, and heartfelt thanks also to Manu Invisible for his art that speaks not only of beauty, but also of great humanity».
