This morning, law enforcement intensified control of city schools with a series of operations aimed at preventing drug use among young people. The intervention saw the participation of the police, with the collaboration of the Penitentiary Police dog unit to inspect several schools in the city.
The trained dogs, experts in drug detection, carried out searches in some areas of the schools, including corridors, classrooms and common areas. The operation, which was carried out discreetly and without alarming the students, was aimed at raising awareness in the school community and deterring drug trafficking in places frequented by young people.
