Shortly after 1.15 pm, a crane of a construction company engaged in the renovation of the facade of a house, due to causes under investigation, overturned and fell to the ground.
Two workers involved in the accident, who fortunately did not suffer serious consequences and were immediately assisted by medical personnel who intervened with an ambulance on the spot.
Danger escaped for the pupils of the nearby school: the crane in fact fell shortly before the children left for the end of lessons.
The operations of removal and road clearance of the heavy machinery were carried out by a team of the Nuoro Fire Brigade.
The legal assessments were carried out by the Municipal police and by the ASSL service of the Spresal (Prevention and Safety at Work Service) of Nuoro.
