Eight and a half tons of pellets. This is what was seized by the forestry carabinieri of the CITES Unit of Cagliari in a shop in Sestu, after discovering that the bags were missing the required information in Italian. The operation took place in recent days.

For the owner of the business, a Chinese citizen residing in Sestu, a fine of approximately 1000 euros, in addition to the seizure of the bags that did not bear the items required by the consumer code.

The material placed under the seals contains 562 15 kg bags for a total of approximately 8 and a half tons and an economic value of approximately 2100 euros.
