New Cagliari stadium, approval from the Region for the program agreement
The draft of the provision which brings with it the 50 million euro loan has been approved: the Municipality's signature is now also needed

The Region approved the program agreement with the Municipality of Cagliari «for the construction of the new stadium according to the standards required for international competitions, within the deadlines for hosting the 2032 European championships». This is the title of the resolution approved this morning by the Council led by Christian Solinas: it is the act that should allow the disbursement of 50 million euros to the Region for the construction of the new plant.
The measure was adopted almost at the last possible moment: the Municipality needed certainty by the end of November for an accounting issue, in order to be able to include the money in the budget. Otherwise the process would have been delayed by another year. The entire operation cost 157.4 million.
The content of the draft program agreement will be illustrated shortly by Solinas at a press conference.
