NAS checks in Sassari healthcare facilities: two reports

Carabinieri raids in Sassari and Sorso in recent weeks. The Anti-Adulteration and Healthcare Unit targeted several healthcare facilities , specifically a residential care home in the Romangia area and an integrated community center in the capital of Sassari. In the first case, officers found a cache of hazardous special waste in a room not far from a meeting room.

The violation found is that of Article 256 of the Environmental Code. In addition to the above, the drug registry was also found to have been uncertified.

In the integrated community, located in a suburb of Sassari, the NAS found padlocks in the escape routes and verified that the number of patients was excessive, in addition to the fact that three-person rooms were accommodating five. In both cases, the members of the Carabinieri special unit reported the names of the facilities inspected.
