A long night with two brothers from Quartu under pressure for the death of Luca Mameli, the 35-year-old from Capoterra stabbed yesterday around 5.30 at the Poetto di Quartu: in the end the youngest, a 21-year-old from Flumini, ended up in prison with the charge of murder. For the eldest, 26 years old, no precautionary proceedings have been triggered.

This is the outcome of the investigation by the Flying Squad of Cagliari, coordinated by prosecutor Nicola Giua Marassi, into the crime that took place just before dawn yesterday. The 21-year-old hit the victim with a blow at the end of a dispute between two groups, born out of a bet. The testimonies collected by the investigators of the Mobile, coordinated by the manager Fabrizio Mustaro and by the deputy Veronica Madau, who immediately worked with the colleagues of the commissioner of Quartu on what happened in the walk through the nightclubs on the seafront that had recently closed, were decisive.

The blow hit Mameli in the chest, taken to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari in 118: the 35-year-old died shortly after. The police immediately followed a precise lead reconstructing what happened. The Flying Squad hypothesizes that Mameli was involved in a clash between his group of friends and that of the Quartesi brothers . There is talk of a fight and the screams of a girl. In the quarrel a knife suddenly came out. The 35-year-old, after being hit, took a few steps staggering and then collapsed to the ground.

Yesterday, all day long, the surveys were carried out on the seafront. The two alleged perpetrators of the crime were taken to the police headquarters and their homes were searched. In viale Colombo, in the embankments and in the pond of Molentargius, the search for the weapon has begun. In the middle of the night the arrest for murder of the 21-year-old.
