An autopsy will be carried out tomorrow on the body of Giacomo Murrai , the 78-year-old pensioner who died last Thursday in the Monti countryside, swept away by a torrent.

The Prosecutor of Tempio has entrusted the staff of the Olbia police station with an in-depth investigation into the accident that occurred in a ford of the Rio Crasta.

The autopsy investigations were entrusted to the coroner Angela Seddaiu.

The questions posed by the prosecutor primarily concern the cause of death , which, according to the first reconstruction of the facts, could be drowning . Giacomo Murrai, after getting out of his car, in the middle of the ford of the stream, ended up in the Rio Crasta and was dragged tens of meters downstream .

The Tempio prosecutor's office has ordered investigations to rule out a possible illness or the consequences of alcohol intake. Giacomo Murrai's funeral will be celebrated in Monti on Wednesday.
