A woman from Monserrato has been reported by the police for theft. Entering a house together with the landlady, she allegedly stole the wallet of the victim, an octogenarian, with 250 euros in cash and walked away.

The complaint was immediate: the carabinieri of the station managed to trace the alleged thief through the images of some television cameras and some testimonies collected during the investigations by the police.

The 40-year-old woman was reported for theft. Of the cash, no trace. The suspect is a person subject to an obligation to stay in Monserrato for previous crimes. He can regularly leave the house, he only has the obligation not to move. He would have carried out the theft taking advantage of a moment of inattention of the owner of the targeted house. A report was filed on the matter in the prosecutor's office.
