In the night between Friday and Saturday, thieves took away a tractor, two plows and a transporter , agricultural vehicles worth hundreds of thousands of euros , kept inside some sheds in one of the lands located in the Ovile Nuovo area. , two kilometers from the Le Saline roundabout.

The owner, a 42-year-old farmer from Stintino, discovered the theft of his agricultural equipment only on the morning of September 9th. The criminals forced the lock of the warehouse, broke the padlocked chain and entered , loading the vehicles, probably intended for sale, onto a truck . They took advantage of the celebrations of the Blessed Virgin, when the entire Stintino community is involved in organizing religious events , and the same police forces are operational to monitor and guarantee order during the event.

The thieves may have traveled the road with heavy vehicles to transport agricultural equipment, in the stretch between Le Saline and Pozzo San Nicola.
